s we grow older, we seem to lose much more than juz youth. those older than u might pass away n those younger than u will grow up.
last Thurs, i juz went over to my 三舅's place. my mum asked me (or shd i say Des) to move a single bed over to my uncle's place. someting happened inb/w but not important. anyway, didnt tok much to my uncle coz he was kinda restin. n tt was the last time i'll ever get to see my uncle.
mum called nearly midnight ytd to tell me tt my uncle passed away in the evenin. (>_<) yeah. die of liver cancer. y neva approach doc? he did but the cancerous cells already affect his other organs. he left his wife & his 2 young daugthers. *haiz* 1 is in kindergarden n the other only primary sch. n he's not even 50.
worst ting: i cant attend the funeral. *haiz* y? i'm preggy + i'm already married off. all the chi customs. *haiz* so dear had to go on behalf today. *hmm* prolly will visit him after the funeral n when he's been cremated.
kinda miss those times when i'm still young. those times (only 二舅, 阿姨 n my mum were married), i was the only girl (i have 3 表哥 n 1 same age 的表弟 back then) n all my uncles dote me alot (i have 5 舅舅 n 1 阿姨). n my uncles always buys me toys, sweets & brings me to playground. 三舅 was no exceptional too. *haiz*
i wonder how my 外婆 is gonna handle tis.
now, i miss my grandma too. *haiz* i miss her the most when it comes to festivals like 端午节. i miss her dumplings. so far, i haven eaten any tt's near her style.
ok, guess the next person i miss is my 外公. he also dote on me alot. *haiz* now tt my 三舅 has left us, @ least 外公 has someone to accompany him. =X
ok. enough of sad stuffs.
bbq on sat was not bad. Sen has invited alot of his frens. *haha* n of coz he's brought along his gf. *haha* n of coz the family side was tokin about his gf la (i wonder if the same kinda discussion was goin on when i 1st went to dear's family gatherin =/). *haha* food was not bad. but i dun tink i've eaten enough?! *haha* n not forgettin Brandon n Cheryl. *hehe* Brandon juz cant get enough of runnin ard. *haha* n everyone was so scare when he was runnin down the slope. *haha* n Cheryl. *haha* she's juz adorable. lookin here n there n smilin away. n lookin @ how my father-in-law was playin wif Cheryl, i tink my girl will b spoilt. *haha* the bad ting was tt the weather suddenly turned bad. abit i guess. we left b4 it started drizzlin. *hmm*
Sen's gf n 2 of his guy frens came over to stay. well, kinda reminds me of the days when i stayed overnight too. *haha* stayin overnight @ ur bf's house sure aint nice. initially la~ coz u dun have ur own clothes, clean underwear, toothbrush etc. but the only gd ting is tt u r closer to ur special someone la. *grinz*
been havin tis crave for 小笼包 for days. *haiz* been pesterin dear but guess hafta wait either tonight or tml. *hehe*
